Stalking Jewels

Well as I wait to see what my insurance is going to give me and when, I have been pondering what I should replace and what I should buy that I didn't own before.  There is a minute chance one or two items will be found so I am holding onto a bit of hope.  Now I do believe in God and I do believe in going with your gut (that's the Holy Spirit/Your Conscience speaking to you).  So...when Sundance sent me an e-mail saying 15% off everything (they hardly ever do % off)  I knew I wasn't seeing any of my Sundance jewelry again.  Still can't believe they stole my shit!

So this is what Emily and I replaced.

Me...

WISHBONE EARRINGS

I do not wear a lot of gold but when I do I always wore/will wear these.

Emily...

PATINA TRIO RINGS

I had purchased this set for her when she turned 16.  She had several other rings but always wore these except to work (no rings, necklaces, only simple studs allowed).  Guess where she was when they hit our house?

Now the thing with Sundance is they publish ALL reviews.  If it has a bad review DO NOT purchase no matter what a good deal you think you are getting.  Their shipping is on the high side but the jewelry literally comes in two days.

The 15% off lasts through tonight only.  They are working on their website and I believe this is their apology for any inconvenience.

  1. I really hope the find some of what you had stolen. I lost my mum's ring two years ago, and trying to claim the insurance was horrific even though I have paid them up the wazoo, in the end I gave up and it turned up ten months later.

    1. I am hoping the insurance will not let me down but we shall see. I do remember losing the diamond out of my engagement ring years ago only to have it turn up a few months later in my carpet. Guess I wasn't a good house cleaner.

  2. Those rings are gorgeous and what a beautiful gift for your daughter's 16th, it's great that you can replace them! I like the look of three rings together.
I was obsesses with wishbones when I was a kid so of course I think your wishbone earrings are terrific.
I hope the insurance comes through quickly for you, pain in the arse all of it is.

    1. I finally cleaned my entire closet top to bottom today and realized they also stole my husbands backpack to put everything in. Sigh. We are trying to be selective in replacing the jewelry. I am already tired of wearing the same damn necklace and earrings. I need some studs and a watch but the watch is what I am really hoping they can get back. We shall see.

    1. Yeah, I feel like I got the shaft. Oh well, I am looking at replacing some things but just can't pull the trigger cuz I still have my fingers crossed. I want my stuff back.
