Shoulda Coulda Woulda..Woulda Shoulda Coulda

Should I?

ARRAN WOOL CAPE WITH LEATHER BUCKLESARRAN WOOL CAPE WITH LEATHER BUCKLES

Could I?

All they have left is my size.  But I have repeatedly mocked the cape.   Will it mock me?  Can I pull it off?  Where do I place my shoulder bag?  What if I get hot and need to take it off?  Where do I put it?  Will it mess up my hair?  Will it be slimming?  Or just look like I am wearing a tent?

Will I?

Stay tuned.

  1. I love a cape but the should bag dilemma is always a deal breaker. A handbag or clutch helps, but I have never been able to look as chic as the model when I try them on. Good luck!!!

    1. Didn't think of the forgiving...I can undo my pants top button after a big meal out. That definitely goes in the "Pro" column.

  3. Capes have drama! I still have the velvet one is sewed for myself 30 (oh crap) years ago when I needed something special. Everytime I "don it" I feel awesome. Go for it doll. You can rock it like no one I know. Of course you're one of my favorite peeps. Love ya baby.

  4. I do love a cape as they look so chic but I find that my mobility is compromised...I feel like I am batting my wings at best but hey I am all thumbs.

  6. Hello,

Mmmmm not sure about the cape but we would certainly bow to the superior knowledge of your other commentators. As we cannot speak without flinging our arms about, we should feel rather constrained in the cape.........still, that could be a good thing!

  7. I wait with baited breath! The cape is a unicorn for me - - yet to find one that looks good on my 5'2" busty frame. But hope springs eternal, and I will eventually find 'the one". Can't wait to see!

    1. My last purchase was a complete fail...maybe I should step out of my box a bit. The perfect navy pumps are my unicorn.

  8. I gave in on a camel one a few seasons back. I always feel awkward in it and I always get lots of compliments. Vanity trumps practicality in this neck of the woods.

    1. Why do you feel awkward in it? I am afraid just putting it on will be difficult...back, front, head where arm is suppose to be. Why I am afraid of this piece of cloth?
