T & A: Part1

This is dedicated to my girls, Big and Bigger.

I have put off bra shopping for quite awhile, too long to be honest.  My girls have been woefully uncomfortable for too long.  Off to Dillard's (best we can do in Knoxville) for a fitting with Marge.

Now Oprah is always in my head... 90% (or something like that) of women wear the wrong size bra...could be me.  Let's start with a measurement and a trial bra.  Presently I wear a 36D.  A bit surprised when she brought me a 36C.  Now we had Emily sized at Christmas...32D.  No way in hell am I a 36C.  Nope I'm not.  Marge wants to put me in a 34DD.  I suddenly have boobs on my back. Back fat has found a home.  We try on a few more and voila I have found the perfect size and perfect bra.

New bra on left, old pathetic one on right.  They are both Wacoal

With new bra

Old worn out bra

***Please tell me you can tell a difference...I plucked down $180 for three new bras***

New bra - I forgot to suck in the gut. Sigh.

Remembered! Old bra on, new bra watching.

Look at those globes.  New bra.  even my skin likes the new bra better.

Hanging low.  Old bra.

Now when Marge told me I was a ...

34G!!!
I said, "Excuse me?"  I thought, "No fucking way!  Has gravity really stretched them out that much?"  I'll admit, my bras were so uncomfortable that if I was home, they were off.  Damn it.

So there you have it.  I am great, gorgeous, and gigantic.  Pamela Anderson eat your heart out.

  1. You're looking absolutely gorgeous so I guess that's your size, I think it has a nice ring to it. Your boobs must feel much happier. We all need Marge it size us up!

  2. Your boobs look good period! Though this is so annoying when people say this to me in similar vein but Aussie bras are the best especially for c plus gals. Aussie women have the largest boobs apparently and they hold so well!! See if you can find a brand called bendon. Cheaper than wacoal by ten percent but I swear by them!

  4. I am right there with you sisters. Always hunting for the bra that distributes them in the optimal locations. I am smaller in the midsection so the boobs dominate the entire torso. I am always looking to camouflage. Shopping for dresses is sheer torture for me. It is fabulous that you wear them proudly!

    1. Well, they obviously aren't getting any smaller. Having them lifted properly does help the figure and if I can get past the cup size, I actually feel great in them.

    2. BB- yes your waist looks much more defined now.

  5. You are deeply gorgeous and so are your girls! Most women wear a band size too large and a cup or two sizes small. Once upon a time I thought I was a 32B or C. Now I know I'm a 28E. Annoying as all hell to find bras in my size, so I bulk buy when I find one I like.

    1. She had me go up to a G because the 34 DDD,E,F I just wasn't comfortable in the band. If I had to do it all over, I would have gotten a boob lift at 35.

    2. Ruth, you're a 28E? You have made my day, I would never have guessed or noticed, I feel less of a freak now!

  6. I think the new better fitting one is helping. Dear lord, how did you mash yourself into 3 cup sizes too small?? Not a problem I have, stopping at C, but I'm deeply sympathetic!

  7. BB, you are one gorgeous glorious glamazon for sure. and who gives a rip what size the damn bra says The Girls are? What matters is that they're alert, perky, and all lined up like good little cheerleaders. You look fabulous. Mr. BB surely must be a happy boy this evening. :-)

    1. They are at full attention and ready for duty. Hunter was a bit surprised they went up to that size.

  8. Oh that makes such a difference! I almost wept at Christmas when I got sized and they said " 30 F" in some bras, I didn't buy anything and I still don't believe it, I came home in a foul mood and felt like a freak for days.
