Poor Hunter

Ever have one of those days where NOTHING goes well?

Ever watch some one have one of those days?

Hunter had just a really BAD day yesterday.

First, we woke up to more f*****g snow:

Second, one of the dogs got so excited she peed in the middle of his side of the bed:

Next, he forgot to let the garage door go all the way up before he backed out:

The piece of my car he destroyed.

He had to spend the next thirty minutes beating the garage door tracks into submission so the door would close.

Then, we went to his folks where he ate undercooked sausage:

Then, he went to open house and swept the driveway so people wouldn't kill themselves.  He proceeded to slide all the way down, windmilling his arms, but he stayed on his feet.  It was rather funny to watch.  Yes, I laughed.

No picture was taken.

Finally, I decided to take him out to dinner, wherever he wanted to go:

Damn place was closed.

I put him to bed at 9:30PM, bless his heart.

    1. I was in the shower when he came in and told me I was going to be mad at him. When he mentioned car, backing out...for a second I thought he had killed the cat. Needless to say I was relieved.

    1. He has had some doozies. When we were in college the swing he was in broke right on the upswing. Launched him straight up and back down flat on his back. Being the compassionate person I am, I had to crawl to him because I was laughing so hard. He's a survivor :)

    1. I tried very hard to help stay out of the "funk" but crap kept happening and all I could do was have a sense of humor and hope it rubbed off.

  6. I guess the only good news is that he didn't fall when sliding down the driveway. I have the same disturbing habit of getting the giggles when someone trips or stubs their toe. Not really sure what that means but it can be embarrassing. I nearly had to bite my tongue off to keep from laughing in elementary school as the nuns wiould speed up and down the classroom aisles, ruler in hand, screaming "Who's laughing?"

  7. Deceptively sunny, went out without hat to buy wine at a well known wine store, got off the bus in front of the address, no wine store. Insisted on going home before ears fell off from frostbite. Had cheese for dinner without the wine. Camembert was unripe, boucheron was dry. Fooey. More snow expected tomorrow. Feeling connected to Hunter.

    1. Fortunately he gad a bit of whiskey to finish the day or he may have gone into the ugly cry. Glad you get to keep your ears.
