Bikini Babe

Well I did it.  I finally found a swimsuit for this season and it's a bikini.  My daughter talked me into it and I must say I do like it.  I spent my high school years living on the beach in a string bikini.  Spent my 20's in Miami in a bikini.  Had a baby, moved to Tennessee and never even bothered to try a bikini again.  So....

Fantasie Bali Full Cup Swimwear size 38D, L in Marine here

Yep there is it.  Kind of scary looking.  My faithful ol flip flops soften the blow a bit.
I sized up from my true 36D to a 38D based on reviews and it fits great.  I ordered a L for the bottoms.  Probably could have gotten away with the M but the L works fine.  I just have to be careful when I dive into the pool that they don't end up around my ankles.

Back clasp.  It is not adjustable but it is sturdy.  The material is not the usual silky swim suit stuff.  It is a tad rough but comfortable.  The top has a black lining but no inserts.  If the girls get cold will probably be able to tell ever so slightly.

The shoulder straps are adjustable.  It is a swim bra basically...which is what I was going for.  I am just tired of the saggy girls and the halter style needed to help keep them up.
The top actually deemphasizes the chest a bit.  Not a lot of cleavage.
 On Me:
Geez I need a tan.  The bottoms are full coverage and just high enough to cover the little muffin I have.  I will probably be a little self conscience the first few times I wear this...even in front of the family.  But hey, I got what I got and I am happy for it!

  2. We have the same colour of skin - Spam!
You look great in your bikini, my muffin top goes up to my boobs, yours is nothing. Oh and I always feel horribly uncomfortable in public in swimwear, it takes at least two cocktails for that feeling to go away.

    1. Oh I do have skin the color of spam. I am often too lazy to even self tan. Cocktails are always appropriate for any occasion.

  3. I think you look fab! I am like Tabs, only I need three cocktails and for it to be dark outside! But this year, I have vowed to swim daily once the pool is open so will have to get on it! I really like this suit! You and Tabs are bravest ever for posting bathing suit shots! If I do, it will be the sign of the apocalypse!

    1. Yeah but I was in a full swimmie, it looked like a dress, my stomach is a mess from my fat days, no one wants to see that!

    2. Tabs did inspire. I almost didn't post the full shot but knew she would call me chicken shit. I also love to swim..so much gentler on the bones.

  4. I think that is the perfect bikini and it looks amazing on you. I think a halter style is super flattering but I'm too flat chested to wear them, would if I could.

    1. I keep all of my stress on the back of my neck. I have found the hhaters, while looking great, to actually hurt. I do need to wear this a few times to overcome my fear of it. Sounds silly but true.

  5. You look fantastic! I think it looks like a great fit and I just love the colour and shape. I'm quite busty myself so this is ideal for keeping them headed in the right direction!

    1. I do have miraclesuits but find them confining. I will only buy bra size suits from now on. There is no constant rearranging of the girls for the right lift. Thanks for the compliment...I need a drink now and a new post quickly!

  6. Wowza! You look AMAZING! And I was going to say, it takes courage to post a bathing suit picture for the world to see, but if I'd look like that, I'd be taping that picture to every lamp post in my neighborhood :-)

  7. You look fantastic!! I hate wearing a suit in public. I even hated it when I had a "body to die for" centuries ago. I agree with Tabs and WMM, several cocktails help, but too many has me considering going topless. Not a pretty picture.

  8. Oh to be so carefree, drunk whatever, that I would go topless. Everything and anything I made fun of my mother when I was young and perky is coming back to haunt me.
