Soon. Very Soon.

The southerners have obviously named their own king and I think we have to seriously consider the possibility that they will float across the Narrow Sea on their throne of pool noodles.
Time to get our pastey white butts ready...Game of Thrones baby.

I certainly am. And this is probably the only photo I'll pin of him.

  1. Oh oh, looks like you've posted 7 pics but I can only see 2 of them. I don't follow the Game of Thrones (I think there's a lot of blood and guts?) but my pastey white butt will remain that way, summer or not, it won't be seeing the light of day ;)

We've had summer most of winter and I hope we don't get tired of summer when it officially comes in.

    1. That's what happens when you pilfer pictures from the internet on your iPad. Sigh. Not a lot of blood and guts, just you know it happen ended but don't get to see it. Love it! They are always saying Winter is Coming.

  2. Hello,

As we have not had a television for thirty years we remain in blissful ignorance.......

Is our monarchy being ousted at last.....we do hope so!!

    1. No TV? Lucky you...no Naked and Afraid, Swamp People, or Diners Drive ins and Dives. You are missing such classics :)

  3. Will be glad to see him go. Older children have taken to calling younger sibling Joffery during ritual family dinner time teasing. She doesn't know who he is(banned from GOT as only 12) just knows it must be bad to the laughter this generates in the other 3.

    1. Sorry about the pics. One is of a pastey white guy sitting on his thrown made from pool noodles saying Summer is Coming. The other is Joffrey, can't wait for him to die. GOT is the fastest hour of TV for me. I have not read books so it's all a surprise.

    2. me neither so it is all new to me and I just blank those people who say that it has veered off course and I am like - whatever it is still awesome so stick it up your copyright and staying true blah blah blah. They better just keep everyone alive is all I am sayin'.

  5. Hope your summer arrives soon. Still no internet here :-(
I have not seen any Game of Thrones. I am not very good at watching things!
We did watch True Detective, though. It is fantastic!

    1. True Detective was really good. Couldn't get Hunter to watch it with me so my folks would come over Monday morning, walk, exercise, then watch True Detective. You may like Luther on BBC. Only three episodes per season, only three seasons...no longer in production. Give it a go when/if you have time.

  6. Have not hooked into Game of Thrones yet. Saving it for after Easter, does it make you want to dress in velvet? We have 80 degrees here and then torrential rain, no sight of a real summer yet

  9. I'm not a GOT person but it looks like it's a very stylish show. The actress who plays the white haired queen is everywhere these days and she has me wanting to go a very light shade of platinum!
