The Rest of the Celebration

Looky, looky cookie...

what I got from my lover for having to f$^k him the past many years.  Sorry, a bit testy.  We were suppose to trot off to Ocracoke Island in the Outer Banks but the weather just doesn't want to play nice.  So home I will sit.  Sigh.

Anyhoo.  We were suppose to eat vegetarian suppers this week.  First night...It's our anniversary!  F&^k the veggies, give me meat.  Off to Stock & Barrel.

Burger-Header

Actually I got this...

Stock and Barrel: The Chicken & Waffle -- a big favorite

Chicken and Waffles.  Yay!  Hunter got the burger but was drooling over mine.

A bit of wine and a glass of bourbon...to another year!

    1. Much better now, the weather is going to be gorgeous today and we have been invited out on the water. My pastey legs and body will hopefully be well protected.

    1. I tried to get him to do the Quinoa burger but he wouldn't do it. He had the farmhouse with a fried egg on top. The one above is the Big Nasty.

  3. I went to their website - wow, all of those bourbons!
Still can't work out what those crunchy bits in the burger might be.

  6. You are hilarious! Gorgeous ring and that dinner looks delicious. I love the Outer Banks but when the weather is bad out there it's usually quite bad isn't it? We used to go every summer, I miss it! Have a great weekend Dollface.

    1. We have never been. A friend is a pilot for two blind lawyers...I know, I don't make this up...and they periodically let him use their plane. We had thunderstorms and high winds yesterday so flying was just out of the question. So we are now going to Norris Lake on his pontoon boat. I'll take what I can get.

  8. Happy anniversary! Cheers to another year!
Im with you-I always splurge on special days. If you can't eat meat on your anniversary then whats the point? I still havent tried bourbon though. I am completely in the dark about the amber liquids. Perhaps when you return from Italy I shall arrange a bourbon summit and all of you can teach me.

  12. Your new ring is really beautiful. It looks like such a classic and sophisticated ring. Great choice Hunter! My husband also likes to buy me jewelry but I have to tell him to stop as I am not trying to audition for The Real Housewife franchise. Love burgers - could eat them everyday.

  15. BB - you are such a breath of fresh air in this world of hyperbole and "adorbs, love!" "what I got from my lover for having to f$^k him the past many years" gonna show the hubstar this, have never got the jills from him, but truthfully for me a cheesy chippy burger does the trick
