Are You?

Why does toilet paper need a commercial? Who is not buying this?

I, for one, prefer to stock up rather than risk the alternative.  In fact, I make sure every bathroom
has at least five rolls so I don't get the dreaded cal1....
"Can you bring me some toilet paper?!  Please."

We are suppose to have a beautiful week end.  That means GARDENING.  YAY!
I am sure with all the squatting in the garden I will have a tough time slapping
my ass on the toilet seat by Monday...getting up won't be a picnic either.

  1. That is brilliant!
Oh the first bit of gardening squatting is a killer, I'm on it too, mostly hauling out stuff that died this winter.
I ate lunch outside today - yes!

  2. It will be gorgeous here this week end and I can not wait to get my hands dirty. So glad your weather is turning also. I am so much happier in the sun.

  3. Well I'm finally not wearing socks so I'm happy. Though still chilly here by most standards, I don't care if my ankles are cold.
So hilarious BB and I was moaning over the toilet paper this morning, first of all, why ads, I'm stuck buying loads of this stuff, how many giant mounds of TP have I thrown into my cart over the years? Second thing, we go through so much of this stuff, do I have stock in the companies that make this? I better make sure.
Third up, I should make some other family member buy it week after week then maybe they would cut down. Does every visit really need half a roll?

    1. Our intake has been cut over half since the kids left. We have plungers in every bathroom to make sure it all goes down. Funny you are no longer wearing socks...I went straight into sandals (don't go hating :) ). Hunter bought toilet paper once. Cheapest he could find and it went in his bathroom. Only three ply or more is good enough for my tushie. He was not happy with his sandpaper.

    3. I'd rather use too much than too little :-)

  4. Soooo true! Loo roll also doesn't have an expiry date so I stock up as well. However, my hubs is very picky about his brand....

  6. My husband is really into tp, he needs "his" brand. I don't notice the difference but he keeps saying all others feel like sandpaper. What does that say about me? :)

  7. I have another take on this. I shouldn't admit it but my grand-daughter and her friends TP homes of friends.
I have seen it once on a street corner being sold here. I was surprised but I knew why because of my
prankster grand-daughter. There must be others.

    1. Ah yes rollin' a house seems to be a tradition a lot of teenagers go through. My son goes to Auburn and after every football win they would roll the tress on Toomers Corner (which were unfortunately poisoned by an Alabama fan and had to be removed last year).
