The Cows Have Come Home

It's that time of year again...

The Cows Have Come Home

We started with two.  Then six came through the other day.  Today there were three.  They even had the balls to lay down.  AT this rate, I WILL NOT be mowing my lawn in the spring.  Hunter's job.

The kids are back also.

Tyler went from Yeti

To Ron Swanson or is it Ron Jeremy

To Engineer Looking for a Job

I was informed he needed two suits, two dress shoes, dress shirts, dress socks, ties, undershirts.  Wow!   Also found out he had no idea what a shoe horn is.  The salesman gave him one.  I'll need to get him a lint brush....no clue there either.

Emily is back from her adventure abroad.  She even made good grades.

She left "the friend" back in Australia.  Poor baby :(

Emily is full on spoiling us.  She now does all the prep and cooking for dinner and sometimes lunch.  We have eaten very well.  We also have snacked like pros.  Drank like fish.  And lounged like no tomorrow.

Needless to say, I am fat and happy.

So, whatcha having for Christmas?

I seriously considered Vegan so I would never be fucking asked to do it again.

Then, I saw this:

Smoked Cheddar Bacon Hamburgers on a Glazed Donut.

DonutBurger

Reconsidered for another day.

Sigh.  Let's Do This!

Merry Christmas.

  2. Those kids of yours are Personality++++!!!
    Love it.
Also your menu looks amazing I think you will be asked to cook it again. Emily is really hands on in the kitchen, this is so good! I've got my kids on all kinds of tasks and so far it's going really well... I have to say they are much neater in the kitchen than my hubs. Sitting with a glass of wine right now...
Have a wonderful Christmas Dollface and enjoy that gorgeous family of yours. Cheers to a fun 2016 XOX

    1. Emily does it all. She doesn't even want much help. It's great! All she asked for Christmas was a Kitchen Aid stand mixer. Have a wonderful Christmas.

  3. Oh, I liked the lumber jack look, but he is adorable any old way! Looks like Em had a lot of fun-- good for her! I would take the "gifts" from the cow off your hands(lawn) were I closer ( compost and all). Merry Christmas!!

    1. We all thought he rocked the beard. He kept the stache to show his father. But, he thought it would be best to be clean shaven when stumping for a job this semester. I have a shitload of compost material. I mean a ton. Merry Christmas!

    2. It was awesome, some years it rains all the time! There is a reason why NZ is so green (and as i just wrote that, I hear my journalism teacher saying when you write reason you don't need a why...)

  6. How cute are those cows!!! You must have that welcoming vibe but where the heck do they come from? Stuff like that doesn't happen over here.

You must be having so much fun with the kids - bet you have loads to catch up on especially re the aussie bloke?

My husband and I are trying to go vegan at least one day a week - vegetarian another - it's not that I am against meat I just hate the way they farm them.

Wishing you a merry xmas xxx
