Reviews!

So Emily checks in with me through my blog.  She also is expected to call once a week if she wants money (yep, gotta bribe).  Anyway, she asked about the "stuff" I got in Chicago and wanted to know about the shoes since I said they were on their way.

Me:   I posted a picture of them.

Emily:  No you didn't.  I saw the scarf and bracelet.

Me:  The shoes were first.

Emily:  I saw Dad's shoes he got.

Me:  Those are MY shoes.

Emily:  Oh.

Am I attracted to Man Shoes?

I think they are SO pretty.

I've even ordered socks to wear with them.

I do believe this is real close to the most I have ever spent on a pair of shoes.  They are patent but pretty damn near perfect AND comfortable.  Since I have gotten them, it has been miserable here...and everywhere else.  I have been wearing them around the house to "break" them in.  Truthfully, they are comfortable out of the box.

Has everything I want...Navy, Grey, Green

Goes so well with my new winter coat:

DVF Lauren Assymetrical Coat...SOLD OUT

Our Coat Closet

The scarf also looks great with my green Pea Coat from J Crew.

I now have four coats and two jackets! Hunter has one coat and two jackets.

  1. Good grief, that second picture! Love the loafers and the scarf is really beautiful, especially with your blue and green coats.

  2. Wow that scarf hits my brief of giving two different motifs and colours! I am going to check it out! I was thinking of a second Pegasus but this might have to trump that instead...

    1. They had one small spot to look at the scarves. Two ladies had their sales lady getting everything out for them. I picked three and loved the third one.

  5. T, you did very well with the Tod's (does Emily think they are Butch?), Hermes scarves and that cobalt blue coat is perfect...liking the green as well and both work well with your scarves and Tod's.

  6. Love the man shoes and the coat. LOVE! And I love you, and still fail to see the butch, man shoes and all. Maybe my years in San Francisco and Boston may help.

  10. I just wanted you to know that I walked past the Hermes store on Madison Ave. today and they have changed all of their windows to what I assume is the holiday display. Only one window contained a silk twill scarf. And guess which one it was. Your Brins d'Or - in your colors! A tribute to your good taste! The theme seemed to be ice as other windows contained icicle wreaths and a lot if blue. Enjoy all of your loot. Man shoes be damned. It all looks perfect to me.
