Bacon Tater Tots. OMG!
***Would not recommend the restaurant. The tater tots were fantastic but nothing else. I am planning to write a negative review on trip advisor...that's how strongly I feel about it.***
And just in case we got hungry.
And look what Hunter bought:
yay! So glad you had fun! I am wearing my cardigan in what shall heretofor be known as "Hunter Blush" today! Love the pic with you and EM!
ReplyDeleteMy very first selfie. Tried to take one with her phone but she didn't have room for me...all full. I love the color. It doesn't love me by my face just T&A.
DeleteLoving the piccy of you with the divine Miss Em! My bedroom still looks like that on a good day. Le sigh...Yes Now Known as the Hunter blush and you the Blue Booby blush undies!
ReplyDeleteI just wanted to start cleaning. They did make a path for us to get in.
DeleteSuch a sweet pic, such a sweet pic! Glad you had great fun! Ps I think tripadvisor for the most part is very good and I do read reviews there when traveling. I love battery park but who doesn't??
ReplyDeleteWe walked to The Battery every morning to watch the squirrels, dogs, and people.
DeleteAnother reason for us ladies to love Hunter, that shirt is fabulous. That looks like an awesome trip and you and Em are so beautiful. Good job on the selfie. :)
ReplyDeleteThank you baby. Hunter is becoming quite the little shopper...it's quite cute.
DeleteGreat pic of you and Em!
ReplyDeleteLove Hunter's shirt!
Glad you had a good time
It was great. Do wish the time in the car could have been more time with Emily.
DeleteAh the dorm room! I don't think we ever got one of the daughters in without two large SUVs filled to the brim. I felt bad until I saw other families with U-Haul trucks. That was before we even got to the apartments. There was always stuff stacked everywhere. Under the bed was a great option except when dorm rooms were so small that beds had to be bunked. But a good time was had by all!
ReplyDeleteHunter's shirt is exactly my husband's summer party attire but powder blue is as far as he will push the color envelope. I am glad you had a great time in Charleston. It is definitely on my list for next year.
Funny, he got a powder blue one also. In the past, he has never, ever wanted to shop. So when he does we go for it. But I have an itty bitty window of opportunity...one maybe two stores max.
DeleteWhen my husband decides to shop it's like a scene from Pretty Woman. He'll just point at what he likes and pay for it - if the sales person can get him out of the store within ten minutes. He claims a rash will develop if he is required to stay in a store any longer! Once he's found something he likes he just buys more of the exact same item. I guess the 12 years in Catholic school uniform have stayed with him. I, on the other hand, shop for sport.
DeleteTwo peas in a pod they are. Hunter wanted every color in the same style. Told him to wait, see how they wear, how they launder, then I promised I would get him more.
DeleteYour first selfie-- a success! You are a gorgeous pair! I don't think that room looks too bad at all....
ReplyDeleteI am trying to get MLane to let me get him a TB shirt, but to no avail-- "when they make buttondowns we'll talk", which is exactly the point. Not buttondowns. What a color sense our Hunter has! V. admirable.
Love Charleston architecture + all that bacon. Never have I had so much bacon in everything. Went to Husk, and yes, bacon cornbread. Had to fast for 3 days.
We went to Husk for brunch this trip. Hunter had the shrimp hush puppies and thought they were great...I am allergic to shell fish. bacon in the butter.
DeleteWe just discovered Tommy Bahama and the cut really suits hubby. We have walked in a lot of stores just to be told they have nothing that would fit him. if the shirt works out I promised I would buy him two more ;)
What a great picture of you and Em! Glad you had a nice break. I love how green everything looks!
ReplyDeleteIt was beautiful and flowers everywhere...love the window boxes.
DeleteI agree, great pic of you two! I think Em totally looks like you:)
ReplyDeleteBtw,have you check Clarks for red sandals? i was in their store and they had a few red options.
Going to look at Clark's and zappos..see if something strikes me.
DeleteGreat first pic. And ending w/some sassy skivvies. I love the way Tommy Bahama smells. I wish the store was more on my shopping path. I like some of the things there.
ReplyDeleteI have seen them for years but had never gone in one...not here in knoxville. Pretty darn perfect for my hubs, didn't have a chance to look at the ladies. The skivvies are from Bits & Lace. Wonderful store.
DeleteExcellent spring skivvies. If a restaurant is not worth the money I appreciate being warned. Too bad since the tater tots seemed promising...
ReplyDeleteThe food was fine...the attitude was not. If it wasn't Saturday night, in Charleston, lots and lots of people in town, we would have simply left and eaten elsewhere.
DeleteGlad you had a great time. Bacon tater tots - I die!
ReplyDeleteThey really were good. but then i looove Orida frozen tater tots. I'm not picky.
