Yeah. Went for a walk and wading through this snow is killer. We have been here 20 years most we've ever gotten before was maybe four inches...we got eight. Ugh.
Wow you did get snow! Is there ice under that as well? It's so difficult when this happens in the south, here we have hundreds of salt trucks and plows... you'll just have to tuck in and avoid going outside! Stay cozy dollface!
No ice here...yet. We got 8 inches and the sun is out. Unfortunately it is suppose to freeze again tonight so tomorrow morning could be interesting. They have plowed. Hunter will go out after lunch but I will stay in and cozy cuz ya told me to.
BB - time for you to suck it up and move to Canada baby! You are almost there! Your storm is hitting us tonight! Went to Dani's happy store in case we lose power!!!
One bright spot is it is melting fast and should be gone by Saturday. Oh, and no power failure. Good thing the Olympics are on all day..getting my fix of skating.
It really is stunning - love that cartoon. This reminds me of that funny scene from Bill Bryson where he challenges himself to run the 20 feet to get the mail every morning withOUT thos ten layers on that you need I've only experienced that sort of cold in Toronto, heading down the main street was the coldest I've ever been in my life and I was pregnant with all those poundages extra so really says something.
Hi.larious. We had a lot of rain last week in the general area. Not too much where I am. Everyone was happy to see it, though, as it's been very dry. I don't even bother w/the forecast and wing it by looking out the window. It's worked so far.
I hear ya sista . Oh, do I hear ya

ReplyDeleteI am afraid to look at the forecast! I usually try to look a day or two before but even them it can drastically change.
